Responsible Party: Twin Tail Digital • South Africa • Last updated: May 2026

Who We Are

Twin Tail Digital is a South African solo indie game developer. This Privacy Policy applies to the website at twintaildigital.com and describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Twin Tail Digital is the responsible party as defined by the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), and the data controller as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What Personal Information We Collect

We only collect personal information when you voluntarily contact us through the contact form on this website. The information we collect is limited to:

Field Required Purpose
Name Yes To address your message appropriately
Email address Yes To reply to your enquiry
Subject No To help us understand your message
Message content Yes The content of your enquiry

We do not collect any information beyond what you choose to submit. We do not use analytics tools, tracking pixels, advertising trackers, or cookies of our own on this website.

Why We Process Your Information

Your information is collected for the sole purpose of responding to your message. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose beyond handling your enquiry.

Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest — specifically, our legitimate interest in receiving and responding to messages sent to us voluntarily (GDPR Article 6(1)(f); POPIA Section 11(1)(d)). We are satisfied that this interest does not override your rights, given that you initiate contact, minimal data is collected, and it is used only to reply to you.

Who Processes Your Data on Our Behalf

Contact form submissions are processed by Formspark, operated by Trampoline Software SRL, a company registered in Belgium. Formspark's form submission endpoint operates at submit-form.com — both domains are owned and operated by Trampoline Software SRL. Formspark acts as a data processor on our behalf: it receives your submission and delivers it to us. It does not use your information for any independent purpose.

Data storage location Your form submission is transferred to and stored on servers in Ireland (European Union). Ireland is an EU member state and is subject to the GDPR, which maintains data protection standards we consider adequate in terms of POPIA Section 72.

Formspark does not sell your data to third parties. Their privacy policy is available at formspark.io/legal/privacy-policy.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain contact form submissions for no longer than 12 months from the date of receipt. After this period, submissions are permanently deleted from our Formspark account. If your enquiry has been fully resolved, we may delete your submission sooner.

You may request deletion of your data at any time — see Your Rights below.

Security

All form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Formspark stores your data behind secured systems accessible only to authorised personnel. We do not store personal information on our own servers.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, Formspark is contractually required to notify us, and we will inform you as required by applicable law.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any of them, contact us using the form on the main page — we will respond within 30 days.

Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correction — request that inaccurate information be corrected
Deletion — request that your personal information be deleted
Objection — object to the processing of your personal information
Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format (GDPR)
